Situated at the Southern most tip of the Charente Maritime, Moreau is easily accessed by road, rail and air. To find us on the map look for the nearest small towns of Coutras or Montguyon. Cercoux is the nearest small village.
- Exit 37 on the A10 autoroute is a 40 minutes drive from Moreau.
- The airport at Mérignac, Bordeaux, is 45 minutes drive from Moreau.
- The TGV stops at Angoulème (1 hour drive), Libourne (40 minutes drive) and Bordeaux (45 minutes drive).If you book a holiday at Moreau we shall send you a detailed route with your deposit receipt, please let us know your port of arrival.
The overnight crossings from Portsmouth to St. Malo and Portsmouth to Caen (Brittany Ferries), provide the shortest driving time, 6 hours from St. Malo to Moreau, 8 hours from Caen to Moreau.
These are very popular routes and early booking is advised. It is a 9 hour drive from Calais to Moreau, via Paris.
There are daily flights to Mérignac, Bordeaux from Gatwick (British Airways and Air France), and to Bergerac from Stanstead (Ryanair). There are also flights to Bordeaux from Nottingham, Manchester and Birmingham.
